The Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce (GLCC) has been wonderful in
spreading the news of our recent purchase of Thrifty Car Rental on 558
Rogers Street (Route 38) in Lowell. At each mixer and at the Annual
Breakfast, I make at least five new contacts. Always, one of those contacts
will send immediate business to our establishment. The Chamber is a fabulous
networking tool that helps businesses to develop a strong, loyal customer
base and in turn exposes you to other member's shops, services, restaurants,
etc. that are close to your business. It's very exciting to be a part of the
GLCC and I'm already developing personal friends with some of the Chamber
members, themselves. The newspaper list of members is always in my briefcase
so I know where to stop for a bite to eat or exchange a chat with new
friends. Frank and Barbara Pisano Thrift Car Rental
Looking back at the last several years, I had hoped that my business would benefit from my association with the Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce. Their many mixers and events have given me the chance to meet people from various business segments that I would not have met otherwise. It has been everything I had hoped it would be. Hats off to these friendly professionals! Kevin Coleman President - Coleman Consulting, Inc.
Through the Chamber I was introduced to the Merrimack Valley Food Bank and have been able to volunteer my time and energy to that organization. A couple of weeks ago they did a food drive and myself and my 2 boys, Kyle 11 and Ryan 7, were able to drop off 100 bags at our neighbors homes and then a week later collect them and deliver them to the Merrimack Valley Food Bank. My kids and I had a great sense of giving back to the community in which we love. I think it's very important to have kids start as early as possible to get involved with giving back. If it had not been for the Chamber I would probably never have known about the Merrimack Valley Food Bank. Thanks Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce!!!

From exhibiting at the annual Business Expo to advertising in monthly flyers Laura and Tony Rocha of Electronic Financial Transaction Services (EFTS), believe that joining the Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce has been invaluable to their businesses continued success and growth. As a local Credit Card Services Company Laura says, we are unique in our industry in that we work hard to educate merchants about how merchant account services work and what the best processing solution is for their unique needs. We feel strongly adds Tony, that this not only reinforces for merchants that we are the best choice of providers for them, but our continued support, something unique in our industry, proves to them that we are also the only merchant account provider their business will ever need. In all this, Laura says, both of us feel strongly that the Chamber has and continues to be an invaluable resource in helping us get our message out. Jeanne Osborn and her staff are professional and a pleasure to work with and along with many active members throughout the business community, they work hard to create and foster forums, like the business-to-business marketing mixers, that bring together business people throughout the Greater Lowell area in events that encourage communication and build business relationships. For many businesses throughout the local community says Tony, membership in the Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce is synonymous with growth and success. Laura and Tony Rocha E. F. T. S.
