What is the Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce?
The Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce is the region’s leading business organization, representing more than 500 businesses, nonprofits, and organizations throughout Greater Lowell. Our mission is to connect businesses, strengthen the regional economy, and provide opportunities for our members through networking, education, marketing, advocacy, and community engagement.
What communities does the Chamber serve?
We proudly serve businesses throughout Billerica, Chelmsford, Dracut, Lowell, Tewksbury, Tyngsborough, and Westford. Businesses located outside these communities are also welcome to join if they do business in the Greater Lowell region.
Who can join the Chamber?
Membership is open to businesses of every size, nonprofit organizations, entrepreneurs, sole proprietors, educational institutions, and community organizations. Whether you’re launching a startup or leading an established company, there’s a place for you at the Chamber.
How much does membership cost?
Membership dues are based on the size of your organization. View our membership options on the Join the Chamber page or contact us for a customized quote.
Can I attend events before becoming a member?
Yes! We encourage prospective members to experience the Chamber firsthand. Guests may attend up to two Chamber events before deciding whether to join, and many community programs are open to the public.
How do I become more involved?
Members can maximize their Chamber experience by participating in committees, attending events, sponsoring programs, volunteering, and joining initiatives like W.I.S.E. and YPGL.
How do I find a Chamber member?
Browse our online Member Directory to search for local businesses by category, keyword, or company name.
Do I have to attend events to benefit from membership?
Not at all. While networking events are a great way to build relationships, many member benefits are available year-round, including business referrals, online promotion, directory listings, sponsorship opportunities, marketing support, and educational resources.
Do you offer ribbon cuttings?
Yes! We love celebrating our members’ milestones. Whether you’re opening a new business, relocating, expanding, or celebrating an anniversary, the Chamber can help coordinate and promote your ribbon cutting.
Do you advocate for local businesses?
Yes. The Chamber works to support a strong regional economy by fostering collaboration between businesses, municipalities, educational institutions, and community partners while advocating for initiatives that strengthen Greater Lowell’s business climate.
